At Yogneeti (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we deeply respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you visit yogneeti.com (the “Site”) and interact with our online services. We operate in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and aim to meet global standards such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Information We Collect

We limit the collection of your personal information to only what is necessary. We may collect data in the following ways:

• Information You Provide Voluntarily: When you sign up for our newsletter, download a free resource, or contact us, we collect your name and email address. When you purchase a course via our Teachable school, we collect your name, email, billing address, and payment information.
• Information You Provide Through Our Starting Guide: If you complete the three short questions on our starting-guide page, we collect your answers (how your system tends to feel, where you notice it most, and which time of day is hardest), an age band rather than a date of birth, and your email address. We also record that you gave consent, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time — this is a legal requirement under Canada’s anti-spam legislation, and we keep it for three years.
• Information Collected Automatically: As you browse our Site, we automatically collect basic technical data. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, and information about how you interact with our pages. Non-essential tracking cookies are only set if you accept them — see section 6.

3. Sensitive Health Information

Because Yogneeti provides education on somatic practice and yoga, you may occasionally wish to share personal context with us. However, our website contact forms and email systems are not secure medical portals. We strictly request that you do not submit sensitive personal health information, medical records, or detailed trauma histories through our Site. Any information you choose to share via email or contact form is sent at your own risk.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Deliver the services, newsletters, or products you requested.
• Process transactions securely through our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Teachable).
• Improve our website’s functionality and the user experience based on analytics.
• Communicate with you regarding updates, new courses, or changes to our policies.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. We only share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business. These are MailerLite (email delivery), Teachable (course hosting and payments), Hostinger (web hosting), and Meta (advertising measurement — see section 6). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and use your data only to provide the requested services.

MailerLite, our email provider, is a United States entity. It stores our mailing list on servers in the European Union, and its data-processing agreement reserves the right to process data anywhere in the world where it or its sub-processors operate.

6. What We Send to Meta

When you submit the attunement form, we tell Meta that a form was submitted, and which advertisement brought you here. We do this from our own server, and we send it whether or not you accepted cookies — it happens because you submitted the form, not because of a cookie.

We never send Meta your email address. Meta learns that someone completed the form. It does not learn who.

If you decline cookies, we don’t load Meta’s tracking script in your browser, and we don’t send the browser identifier that would let Meta connect this to your wider activity.

Remembering your choice. If you accept or decline cookies, we remember that choice for 12 months so we don’t have to ask you on every visit.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline and don’t load Meta’s tracking script.

7. Data Security and Breach Notification

We take all reasonable precautions and implement standard security safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. In the unlikely event of a data breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant privacy commissioners in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable laws.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Under PIPEDA and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we update or correct inaccurate information.
• Withdraw Consent: Unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email.

10. International Data Transfers

Because our Site and third-party tools are hosted on servers that may be located outside of Canada (such as in the United States), your information may be transferred across international borders. By using our Site, you consent to this transfer.
